What is bone broth?

Bone broth is made by simmering animal bones and connective tissue low and slow until the collagen, minerals and nutrients are drawn out into the liquid. The result is a rich, nourishing broth that is gentle on the gut and easy to digest.

What makes this different from store-bought broth or stock?

Most store-bought broths and stocks are made from concentrates, contain additives, and have never seen a real bone. Our broth is made in small batches from Free Range Desi Murgh — bones and meat — slow cooked, and frozen fresh. No concentrates. No shortcuts. What's in the jar is exactly what's on the ingredient list.

What are the ingredients?

RO Water, Free Range Desi Murgh (Country Chicken), Carrots, Celery, Onions, Raw Turmeric, Black Peppercorns, Thyme, Rosemary, Oregano, Iodised Salt.

Is it lab tested?

Yes. The broth has been independently tested by an NABL accredited laboratory for microbiological safety, chemical composition and shelf life. It passed.

Is it gluten free?

Yes.

Is it safe for children?

Yes — children of three and above can enjoy it. We add almost no salt (about half a teaspoon across an 8-litre batch); most of what's there is drawn naturally from the bones and vegetables over the long simmer. As with any food, serve children a small portion rather than a full jar, and stirring a little into their meals is a lovely way to do it.

How much protein does it contain?

Each 250ml jar contains 15.13g of protein, as independently verified by an NABL accredited laboratory. That's meaningful nutrition in a single serve — no powder, no additives, just what comes naturally from slow cooking bones and meat.

How else can I use this broth?

Drink it warm as it is. Use it as a base for soups, dals, risottos and gravies. Cook your grains in it instead of water. Visit our Recipes page for ideas.

How long does it last in the freezer?
